How do you photograph weddings?
On your wedding day, all I want to capture are the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. A very natural, unobtrusive, documentary style of photography. That said I am happy to capture any group shots you would like but even these should be light and fun. I would want to take some time out to capture some unique bride and groom shots incorporating the surrounding elements, landscape and light.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I can be found hiding in a Glen in Argyll, Scotland. Despite it's remoteness I am not far from civilisation and can easily travel. I have travelled the length and breadth of the UK to capture events including a big wedding in Aberdeen and an elopement in Cornwall. I have also had the pleasure of capturing weddings, etc as far as Italy, Spain, Cyprus and Switzerland.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive a preview the very next day (in some cases the same day). Length of time to edit does depend on the time of year (Am I busy!) and how many photographs do I have to edit. I like to complete my editing within 8 weeks at the very latest but do feel free to pester me as it often helps : ) You will receive a link to a private online gallery for viewing, sharing and downloading. You will also receive a link to download an app onto your phone with access to your gallery.
How many pictures will we receive?
Hundreds! I can not possibly give a precise number as there are so many factors. How many guests, how much time, how much is happening and so much more. I can say that there are no restrictions! Once editing has been completed you will receive every image.
